Update: Fluor project just won Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil award for its global Centennial celebration event. http://newsroom.fluor.com/blog/projects/fluor-wins-prestigious-communications-awards-centennial-celebration We finally wrapped up a massive 2 years project/show, produced by Wattsmedia Inc. for FLUOR Inc.; one of the biggest construction company in the world based in Dallas, TX. This Centennial live event was showed to the live audiences at Dallas Symphony Hall and also broadcast via satellite throughout their branch offices from around the world, celebrating their 100 years of success at the same day and time. Task/Challenge: I was assigned to take the challenge providing design and audio-visual animation, as well as taking part in art direction from print and identity design until digital web design and animation. My biggest challenge was creating designs and animations that could be used to drive the show and also used as a media vehicle to accomodate more than 10 videos that played inside a gigantic HD screen (a combination of more than 500 LED screens). To incoorporate the theme of the show, I came up with the idea; a design that represents Fluor's core values SAFETY and TEAMWORK patching their success from their employees; a team of people from engineers until construction workers who are working hard everyday, wearing construction hats, safety vests and harnesses, building magnificient and massive factories and buildings around the world. Location: Dallas Symphony Hall, Texas Role: Co-Art Director/Designer and Technical Supervisor. Production Company: Wattsmedia Inc. Staging Company: TPN Software: Cinema4D (3D). AfterEffects, Premiere and Final Cut Pro (Compositing and Editing), Photoshop and Illustrator (Design), Watchout (Stage Projection-by MINDOPERA). Camera: ARRI Alexa, Canon C300, 7D and 5D mark 2.
