Two Stories to Every Bag
Two Stories to Every Bag - a Private Illustration Project. Dumping every bag to a creative side. The story behind it The bag illustration began as a gag that turned out to be a fun creative illustration project while waiting in the void; rendering large files in the computer. The bags came from the take-out dinners and lunches that we had during our endless late night project in July that lasted for more than a week. Bags after bags began to pile up inside the trash bin, so I decided to recycle and have fun with them by putting a bag in my head with simple doodling head illustration to ease everybody else's stress in the office, but then surprisingly this idea developed into an addictive illustration project that lasted for almost a month. The idea/concept behind it The bag was like a mask. As I started to wear the bag, it reminded me how each bag needs characters on both sides. Since it has 2 big large sides, I decided to draw and tell a story between 2 opposite characters to make it fun; good vs evil, protagonist vs antagonist, warrior vs monster and so on. Each character was drawn with their POVs representation in the background that reflects each of their stories. Inspirations Each drawing and character was drawn using my imagination. Each drawing is reflecting my favorite activities, sport and movie/story genre - SCIFI world, such as: Alien vs Human, Zombie vs Human, Medieval creature vs Warrior and so on. Style Simple lines, a combination of black thick and thin lines. The drawings was more like a graphic representations rather a comic book detailed fine lines. Colors were also minimal, using the brown color to dominate the whole drawings.
